GamerPad is a Freemium application created by CoreOrbits. This SERVICE is provided at no charge and is available “as is” without warranties.

With GamerPad, you can use your mobile device as a gamepad for supported games over a local Wi-Fi network. This document explains how we collect, use, and disclose any Personal Information when you decide to use our Service.

By using GamerPad, you consent to the practices described in this policy. We only gather data for analytics (through Google Play Services), crash diagnostics (through Crashlytics), advertisements (via AdMob), and processing In-App Purchases. No additional personal information is obtained or retained.

Information We Collect

GamerPad collects only the minimal data necessary for the app to function. Specifically:

• In-App Purchase Data – When you complete an in-app purchase, we receive only the transaction details required to verify and fulfill your purchase (e.g., purchase token, purchase time).
• Crash Reporting – If the app crashes, Crashlytics automatically gathers device and crash-related details (device model, OS version, stack trace, app version, timestamp) strictly to diagnose and fix issues.
• Analytics – Google Play Services provides anonymized, aggregated usage data (e.g., how often you open GamerPad, which features you use most, basic device attributes) to help us understand and improve the service.
• Advertising – AdMob may collect non-identifying information such as your Advertising ID, approximate location (city or region), and device metrics (screen size, orientation) solely for ad delivery.

No other personal data (e.g., email, username, contact lists, precise location, local SSID) is collected.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect exclusively to run and enhance GamerPad:

• Enable In-App Purchases – We verify payments, grant access to premium features, and provide purchase receipts.
• Crash Diagnosis – Crashlytics data helps us identify and resolve stability issues.
• Usage Analytics – Anonymous analytics reveal general usage patterns so we can optimize features and prioritize development.
• Advertisement Delivery – AdMob data allows us to serve ads and support the free tier of GamerPad.

We do not use your information for any purpose beyond those listed above, and we never sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Third-Party Services and SDKs

GamerPad integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Play Services (Analytics) – https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Firebase Crashlytics (Crash Reporting) – https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• AdMob (Advertising) – https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543?hl=en
• Google Play Billing (In-App Purchases) – https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing

These providers receive only the minimal data necessary to perform their tasks. They are prohibited from using the data for any other purpose.

Log Data

If the app crashes or encounters an error, Crashlytics automatically collects “Log Data” from your device. This may include:

• Device model and manufacturer
• Operating system version
• App version and configuration at the time of the crash
• Stack trace and error logs
• Timestamp of the crash event

These details are used solely for diagnosing and resolving issues. They do not contain personally identifiable information.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

GamerPad does not explicitly use cookies. However, the AdMob SDK may employ similar tracking technologies (e.g., advertising identifiers) to serve ads. You can manage ad preferences or opt out of interest-based advertising through your device settings or AdMob’s opt-out tools. No first-party cookies are stored by GamerPad itself.

Sharing of Information

We only share the minimal data described below with our service providers:

• Service Providers – We share transaction details with Google Play Billing, crash logs with Firebase Crashlytics, analytics data with Google Play Services, and ad-targeting data with AdMob strictly to enable those services. No additional personal data is shared.
• Legal Requirements – We will disclose personal information if required to comply with a valid legal request (e.g., court order).
• Aggregate or Anonymized Data – We may share aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics (e.g., total daily active users) for reporting or marketing purposes. These statistics do not identify individual users.

Data Retention

• Crash Reports & Analytics – Firebase Crashlytics and Google Play Services retain crash and usage data according to their own retention schedules. We do not store raw logs beyond what those services retain.
• In-App Purchase Records – Purchase tokens and receipt details are retained only as long as needed to validate and support your purchase. We do not retain detailed purchase logs once the purchase has been fulfilled and requires no further assistance.

Any data that remains on our backend (if applicable) is purged in line with Google’s retention policies and regulatory requirements. We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes outlined above.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Right of Access – Request details about the personal data we hold regarding your in-app purchases or crash reports.
• Right to Rectification – Contact us to correct any inaccurate purchase or crash data.
• Right to Erasure – Request deletion of your personal data to the extent permitted by law. Note that crash and analytics data cannot be removed on an individual basis, as that data is anonymized and aggregated.
• Right to Restrict Processing & Object – You can disable crash reporting or analytics collection via your device settings, though this may limit our ability to diagnose issues or improve features.
• Withdrawal of Consent – Uninstalling the app stops any further data collection. To opt out of targeted ads, adjust your device’s advertising preferences.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected].

Data Protection and Security

• Secure Transmission – All communication between GamerPad and our servers (if any) is encrypted over HTTPS/SSL.
• Encryption – Any sensitive data transmitted to Google Play Billing is encrypted by Google’s standards.
• Crashlytics & Analytics – Firebase Crashlytics and Google Play Services maintain security measures in accordance with Google’s policies.
• AdMob – AdMob handles ad-related data following its own security and privacy protocols.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

GamerPad is not designed for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete that information immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has submitted personal data, please contact us at [email protected] so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are encouraged to review this page periodically for any changes. When updates are made, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. For significant changes, we may also provide in-app notifications or send you an email.
